Essos
Daenerys Targaryen is the only daughter of King Aerys Il Targaryen, and the last remaining member of the
royal line of Targaryen succession to the Iron throne. She was raised in exile with her brother Viserysat
Pentos, Essos. Induced by her brother, she married Khal Drogo, who was the leader of the Dothraki's; thus
becoming the Khaleesi (Queen). Observing Viserys mistreatmentof Daenerys, the Khal executes him by
pouring liquefied gold over the "Dragon's" head. The Dragon is the sigil of the Targaryen's, and is used to
name a Targaryen who holds mythical powers. After the execution of her brother, and several trials and
tribulations, Daenerys learns the identity of the true Dragon. [6]

Cleopatra?
Cleopatra was one of the lastsurviving members of the Ptolemy dynasty. After her father's death, she fled
to Rome in search for allies, in which she met Julius Caesar, leader of the Roman people. Educated, ruthless,
and cunning, she led a successful campaign against her brother - using Ceasar and his force to assassinate him. [7]

Zenobia assumed the kingdomof her late husband, KingSeptimius Odaenathus, for her infant son and launched campaigns against
Rome. Zenobia expanded the Palmyrene empire from Syria,Egypt, Anatolia, Palestine, and mostof the fertile crescent. She was nick named the "Warrior Queen", and self-prodaimed herself Augusta. Daenerys is mostly inspired by Zenobia's likeness. [8]
